What wheel do you have?
I have a Logitech GT Driving Force wheel and the RB button (right button on top of the wheel) allows me to enter options (and any other input asking for the three lines button, which is ‘menu’ on the Xbox/PS controllers I think?).
There seems to be quite a few of the controls asking for that ‘menu’ button in the game which is only found on controllers. Its very daft of the devs to have done that.
After the recent patch I could get in to the options to remap though. If so it should tell you in the game which button does it, for example in my game ‘RB’ appears next to ‘options’ on the first options screen and ‘Y’ appears next to options on the second options screen for me (don’t ask why the controls vary its a strange game for button selections the devs should try to standardise them all)
But you need to get into that first options in order to remap all of your wheel buttons. The second options (in the pre-race screen) doesn’t allow remapping for some reason which is a bit daft as most people can get into that one using button Y (the triangle button on my wheel). Again, why havent the devs just added the remapping facility to the second options command, as well as the first options command.
I think some people have had luck copying over their config settings from their Heat 4 game to enable them to get into the options remapping screen maybe you could try to get one of those emailed to you from someone who has the same wheel as yours?
But the main issue is I have heard that the options/menu button is locked and cant be remapped even if you can get into the remapping screen, but I havent checked this myself. If so that is even more stupid of the devs tbh.
