The HP SimplePass is a password manager that has been made to work with compatible HP laptops that has fingerprint scanning capability. It is easy to use, secure and most importantly it is free. With it’s simplified UI made to be consumer friendly, it will allow you to start saving your login and passwords then use your specific fingerprint so that it will automatically login for you in the future by simply swiping your fingerprint on the fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint reader scans your finger and uses the scanned fingerprint in order to match your desired credential to whatever application you need it for. By scanning your fingerprint instead of typing your user name and password it allows you to login into your favorite websites out in public without revealing any of your username or password. Supported browsers include Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer. Not only can you use The HP SimplePass to login into websites, but it can also make logging into Windows the same way you log into websites. You can also view all of your saved login and password by going to the SimplePass application and going to the My LaunchSite tab. With HP SimplePass, remembering or even forgetting passwords is no longer a problem, it will remember them for you. It is completely free and works with 38 or 64bit Microsoft operating systems.

HP SimplePass allows you to safely store logon information for your favorite websites, and use a single method of authentication for your password-protected website accounts. Choose a fingerprint, password, or PIN to authenticate your identity. Your computer must have at least one password-protected Windows User Account to use the software.
Use HP SimplePass to instantly open your web browser and automatically log on to your password-protected website account. You can also use the fingerprint option of HP SimplePass to quickly log on to your Windows User Account.
Scan your fingerprint to enroll it in the tool. Then you can log on to Windows using a fingerprint reader and quickly access your password-protected website accounts. Enrolling your fingerprint is required to begin usingthe app. However, you can select your Windows User Account password or a PIN instead of your enrolled fingerprint as your SimplePass.
The device drivers and security applications designed and approved for your notebook are available on the HP Drivers and Downloads to support the website. Both drivers (Validity Fingerprint Sensor Driver) and security applications (HP Simple Pass) are available.
